This Cookie Policy explains how thyrizwan.com and ThyFin use cookies and similar local storage technologies, and what choices you have.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. I use them minimally and only where necessary.
Cookies on thyrizwan.com
Essential Cookies
Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Session management
- CSRF protection (security tokens)
Preference Storage (localStorage)
I use browser localStorage — not traditional cookies — to remember your
display preferences on this site.
- Dark / light mode preference
- Font size preference
- High contrast mode preference
This data stays on your device and is never sent to my servers.
Analytics
I may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand page view patterns and referrer information. These tools are configured to anonymize all data and do not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting.
ThyFin Mobile App
ThyFin is a native mobile application and does not use browser cookies. Instead, it uses the following device storage mechanisms:
- Encrypted secure storage: Authentication tokens are stored in platform-provided encrypted secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Secure Enclave).
- App preferences: Local display settings (theme, language) are stored on-device and never transmitted.
ThyFin does not use Firebase, crash analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete existing cookies
- Block all or specific cookies
- Clear localStorage data from site settings
Disabling essential cookies will prevent the website from functioning correctly. Clearing localStorage will reset your display preferences (theme, font size).
Changes to This Policy
I may update this Cookie Policy when my practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
